The Leasing Manager is responsible for effectively leading the on-site leasing team and accomplishing effective leasing, marketing and positive resident relations to achieve property leasing goals.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Personnel Management Assist Property Manager with the hiring of new leasing consultants and provide feedback on their performance Serve as a team lead for leasing consultants Provide process and procedural training to new leasing consultants Enforce company policies Create leasing consultant schedules Assist with Property Turn Leasing and Reporting Achieve both personal and property leasing goals Establish weekly and monthly goals for each leasing consultant Track and enforce lease violations Ensure accurate reporting in leasing database Delegate and monitor daily follow-up and closing ratios of each leasing team member Track resident retention plans Monitor availability spreadsheet Coordinate vacancy make ready Perform daily lease audits External Networks Create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, cultural centers to help drive prospects to property Skills:
Minimum Ability to manage, delegate and motivate leasing consultants Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns Understanding of Fair Housing Preferred Marketing skills and an understanding of marketing techniques Prior OneSite software experience is a plus Entrepreneurial creativity
Experience:
Minimum Two (2) years of customer service or sales experience Prior property management experience to include proven leasing successes Preferred Oversight of Leasing Consultants or prior management experience Experience at a Student Housing property Event management experience Education:
Minimum High school diploma Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business or related field This job description should not be considered all-inclusive.
