Southern Wesleyan University's School of Education invites applications for an Assistant Professor-level, tenure-track position in Physical Education. This position, which will begin August 2015, is located at SWU's main campus in Central, South Carolina.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level, face-to-face, and at a distance. SWU's Physical Education undergraduate degree program allows for certification of teacher candidates in grades PreK-12 in the area of Physical Education. 2. Program development and student recruitment in the School of Education. 3. Scholarship in the discipline through active research and/or publishing in journals. 4. Servant-leadership through engagement in service activities within the university and the larger community. 5. Responsible for assessments and preparation of SPA report for NASPE.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
1. Academic . Applicants must hold a PhD in Physical Education or a closely related field and have experience in public K-12 education; current K-12 certification is desirable. The candidate should be broadly trained and capable of teaching in a Physical Education certification program.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
